This 7" incense bottle is made of handblown glass and is extremely thick. It includes one of our incense Stick Clips TM, a vent hole to allow air circulation & even burning, and a rubber guard for the vent hole. Incense sticks not included. What Is It? Incense bottles are a relatively new type of incense burner where the stick is hung from the top of the bottle. The result is that the smoke billows out of the top like a smoke stack.

Usage: Slide the bamboo end of an incense stick sideways into the smaller of the three holes in the stick clip. Light the incense and place it into the bottle using the stick clip to keep it from fall in.

What Is A Vent Hole? If an incense bottle does not have a vent hole, the incense will usually go out after a while because the amount of oxygen inside the bottle becomes too low. This was a problem that we found with many existing models when we were designing ours.

Why Did You Do It? We loved the idea but all of the existing models were cheaply made and frankly, ugly. Ours are beautiful, hand made works of art but are affordable enough for everyone to have one.

Why A Rubber Guard? When you drill glass these is always some chipping and none of the existing models that we found had addressed this issue which left the customer with sharp, exposed glass edges. We added a simple rubber guard and solved the problem.

Other Details: Please note that the pictured rubber guard is by far the most common size but occasionally we will use another if it is required by the particular bottle. The vent hole on the bottles (without the guard) measures exactly 5/8" unless otherwise noted. Always be sure that the incense is not touching the rubber guard or the side of the bottle.
